If you use more than one Gmail, you are advised to keep a different password for each account because you do not want to lose your data or contact. Follow these steps to change your Gmail password in Android Mobile.

Step 1:

Firstly open the Gmail App on your Android mobile and tap ‘Settings’ from the menu option.

Step 2:

If you do not have a Gmail app on your mobile, go to the ‘Settings’ of the phone.

Step 3:

Then scroll down and tap on the ‘Google’ option.

Step 4:

If you use more than one Gmail on your mobile, you will see their names here. Click on them if you want to change the password.

Step 5:

After this, you will be seeing the first option by ‘My Account, click on it.

Step 6:

Now there will be a new page opens, in which you have to swipe the settings bar and tap on the ‘Security’ option. You will get an option by name ‘Password,’ below this Security option.

Step 7:

As soon as you click on the password option, you will be asked to enter your Gmail’s old password. After entering the password, click ‘Next.’

Step 8:

Then type a new password in two textboxes and tap ‘Change Password.’

Note – Use a combination of Letters, Numbers, and Symbols to create a strong password. You can tap on the ITL button (👁️) to see the password.

There will be a popup message show, which will be written that your Gmail password has been successfully changed.

How to Change Gmail Password on Computer

Step 1:

First, you have to open Gmail’s website, and there is a ‘login’ to put your Mail and password over there. After that, you will go to Gmail’s home page, where your ‘Account’ will be happening.

Step 2:

You will see a ‘profile icon’ upwards on the right side; you have to click on it. As soon as you click on it, there will be some options in front of you, from which you have to click on the ‘Settings’ option.

Step 3:

After clicking on Settings, you will open a new page. In which you will see many options in the above. You have to click on ‘Accounts and Import’ on the fourth one.

Step 4:

You will have many options in front of you in the next step, but you have to click on ‘Change Password.’

Step 5:

After clicking on Change Password, a new window will open. You have to enter the old Gmail password and click on the ‘Next’ button.

Step 6:

There are two options to change your Gmail password before you in the next step. There is ‘New Password’ on the first number to enter it. After that, ‘Confirm New Password’ also has to enter the same password and click on the ‘Change Password’ button below.

Step 7:

A message will be seen on your screen in the next step, which will be written that your Gmail has changed. You have to click on ‘Get Started.’ After that, a ‘Security Checkup Message’ will come, in which you will be told about your Mail Security, and your Mail will also be told in how many devices are running.
